TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The senate approved a bill that seeks to stop revenge porn.

The bill passed unanimously Tuesday would make it illegal to post sexually explicit images on the internet without the subject's consent.

It's aimed at websites where people post images of their partners after they break up. Those images are typically nude photos that were never meant to be shared outside the relationship.

It would be a second-degree misdemeanor to post such photos. a similar house bill would make a violation a third-degree felony.
