(Los Angeles, CA)  --  The wife of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling says she's happy that a judge is allowing for the sale of the team.

Shelly Sterling made the comment after a judge denied Donald Sterling's attempt to block the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers.  The judge in the case said she acted appropriately through the rules of the family trust when she negotiated the sale of the team.  Shelly Sterling had agreed to sell the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion after she said two doctors found her husband to be mentally unfit.

Sterling said the battle over the fate of the team has been tough on her relationship with her husband.
