Bucs Bring In Hocker For Kicking Competition

TAMPA, FL (Tampa Bay Buccaneers Communications) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed kicker Zach Hocker.

Hocker (6-0, 191) originally entered the league as a seventh-round selection (228th overall) of the Washington Redskins in the 2014 NFL Draft. During his career, he has spent time with the Redskins, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams. He has played in eight career games (six with New Orleans, two with St. Louis), going 10-of-14 (71.4 pct.) on field goal attempts and 12-of-13 (92.3 pct.) on extra point attempts. A native of Russellville, Arkansas, Hocker played collegiately at Arkansas. He will wear No. 1 for Tampa Bay.
