The weather has been horrible in the Windy City over the last couple of days, but one ballclub had what should have been a service to fans appear quite insensitive.
The Chicago White Sox gave their fans ponchos in order to try and stay dry during the inclement weather. However, the ponchos were white and came with matching hoods, which caused for an awkward situation.
Check out what Paul Lukas of Uni Watch had to say about it!
KKK rally at the ballpark? Nope -- the White Sox just gave out white hooded ponchos on a rainy night. pic.twitter.com/cR1648fAiz— Paul Lukas (@UniWatch) July 3, 2014
I's probably a good thing that the fans didn't break out their strikeout signs behind the plate.
