The Bolts are looking for a new assistant coach, and several reports are circulating that they may have found their man for the job.  NHL Network analyst Craig Button was on with Ron and Ian Monday morning and had very high praise for former Vancouver Canucks assistant Rick Bowness, who could be headed to Tampa Bay to join Jon Cooper’s staff.

"I think the world of Rick," Button said.  "When you're talking about that quality of guy coming into an organization it only helps."

With Lightning head coach Jon Cooper having some experience in the NHL, Button believes a guy like Bowness would be a huge boost for Cooper’s crew.

"To be able to add someone like Rick Bowness to a staff with years and years of coaching experience, playing experience, and to me Rick is the guy that can just help everybody, you know, understand what needs to happen game to game and help young players develop."
