With the final game of the 2013 regular season on the horizon, the countdown to the NFL’s annual ‘black Monday’ has officially begun.  With the dismissal of seven head coaches last year, it is expected that this year’s NFL ‘black Monday’ could reach the same amount of names falling victim to the axe, but could the Buccaneers be one of those teams making a change on December 29th?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers pregame and postgame host Anthony Becht joined WDAE’s ‘The Sports Page’ on Monday and said that this weekend’s game against the New Orleans Saints does have a big meaning in the future of the Buccaneers.  Becht also believes that changes will need to be made.

“The Glazers are going to have a tough decision” said Becht.  “They’re going to have to make a change somewhere because from a fan standpoint we can’t just sit there and have the same thing go on because there’s nothing there to hang our hat on as a fan base what went on this year.”

Becht believes that General Manager Mark Dominik, Head Coach Greg Schiano and Quarterback Mike Glennon are all tied together when it comes to any decision the organization chooses to make.

“You can’t keep a head coach and fire a GM and bring a new GM in and keep the same head coach.  To me that doesn’t work” said Becht.  “To me they’re all tied together.   If it works they’re all here, if it doesn’t they’re all gone.  That’s a decision that has to be made moving forward.”
