After 16 years in the NFL, Ronde Barber decided it was time to retire. Tampa and all Buccaneer's fans will surely miss Ronde. The fans aren't the only ones. Buccaneer's Head Coach Greg Schiano joined the Big Dog on Thursday at the 2013 Sneaker Soiree and discussed Ronde and his offseason evaluations of the Bucs.

Schiano said not only will he miss Ronde on the field but also on the sidelines. Ronde's experience and knowledge was a helping factor for Schiano's first year. Schiano commented it wasn't just his sideline coaching but he said Barber was still making plays out on the field.

With the departure of Ronde, Schiano said there is a lot to be excited about with this Buccaneers team including new additions Jonathan Banks, Dashon Goldson and Darrelle Revis. Schiano was also very optimistic about his defensive line. The head coach praised and said he was impressed with Adrian Clayborn and Gerald McCoy.
