FSU sophomore guard Devon Bookert scored 16 points off the bench, including a perfect 4 for 4 from three point range, as Florida State defeated Georgia Tech 81-71 on Sunday keeping the Noles NCAA Tournament hopes alive with two regular season games remaining.
Noles Senior forward Okaro White led FSU with 18 points as Aaron Thomas added 15. Montay Brandon grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
Georgia Tech lost its fourth game in a row, and has dropped six of their last seven. Tech sophomore Robert Carter Jr. scored 20 points with six rebounds while Trae Golden chipped in 16 points. Daniel Miller finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Florida State wraps up the regular season at BostonCollege and hosting Syracuse. The Seminoles likely need to win both to stay on the bubble for a slot in the NCAA Tournament.
