The USF Bulls (7-19, 1-14) chances of qualifying for the AAC tournament took a huge hit as they were beaten by Tulane (5-21, 2-12) 94-71 on Saturday afternoon.

The Green Wave took a two game lead on the 10th and final spot in the AAC tournament by completing a season sweep over USF.  Melvin Frazier scored a season high 27 points for Tulane, who led the Bulls 44-26 at halftime and shot 66% from the field.  Six men scored in double figures to pace Tulane.

A career day from Luis Santo was not enough for USF, as Santo finished with 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field.  Geno Thorpe led the Bulls with 22 points while Tulio Da Silva scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

USF goes back on the road on Thursday when they head to Tulsa to take on the Golden Hurricane.  Tipoff Thursday night is scheduled for 8 PM.
