For the first time Willie Taggart acknowledgement that maybe, head coaching is a busy enough job where he could use help in certain departments.
Like offensive playcalling. Taggart had chosen to assume those roles in his first four years as a head coach but on Friday confirmed that he will turn over the responsibilities to a pair of assistants.
As reported in THIS article by Joey Knight in the Tampa Bay Times Taggart said new offensive coordinator Paul Wulff from the sideline, and quarterbacks coach David Reaves from the press box will combine to call the plays.
"One thing I thought I could do a better job at is managing the game, not just offense but the entire football team," Taggart said.
USF was woeful on offense last season scoring just 11 touchdowns -- worst in Division I football.
