WDAE's Rick Stroud is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released kicker Connor Barth.

Barth was due to make a base salary of $2 million and as much as $1.15 million in roster bonuses if he made the 53 man roster. The Buccaneers have cut Barth in order to keep rookie Patrick Murray, and All American punter and place kicker from Fordham.
