(via Tampa Bay Buccaneers Communications) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have signed cornerback Kip Edwards.

Edwards (5-10, 190) originally entered the league in 2013 as a college free agent with the Buffalo Bills. After being waived by the Bills at the end of the 2013 preseason, Edwards spent the 2013 season on the practice squads of the Cleveland Browns and the Minnesota Vikings. Edwards played collegiately at Missouri.

The Buccaneers also officially released guard Carl Nicks.
