One of the highest paid players on the Bucs roster won't be around until training camp. The team announced on Wednesday that safety Dashon Goldson recently had a "foot procedure" done. He'll be out until training camp.
Goldson did not take part in practice during he team's recent 3-day voluntary minicamp. He made headlines last season after racking up nearly a half a million dollars in fines as a result of helmet-to-helmet hits.
Goldson also missed two games last season because of a knee injury and another game due to a suspension for an illegal hit. Goldson is scheduled to make $9 million this season-- all of it is fully guaranteed.
