The Buccaneers continue to add more players in free agency. Although this signing doesn't have sex appeal.
The team came to terms with long snapper/linebacker Jeremy Cain on a 1 year deal. Cain played two games with the Bears last season. Prior to that, Cain spent four seasons with the Jaguars. Cain (6-1, 245) also spent some time with the Titans.
Cain will replace Andrew Economos, who is a free agent. New Bucs coach Lovie Smith is familiar with Cain from his days in Chicago. Cain turns 34 next week.
Also on Tuesday, the Bucs confirmed the free agent visits of WR Louis Murphy and CB Mike Jenkins. The team also lost FB Erik Lorig, who signed a 4 year deal with the Saints.
