The Gators clinched at least a share of the SEC regular season championship on Saturday when they defeteated Alabama, but won the title outright with the 66-40 rout of Vanderbilt Wednesday night. The 2012-13 conference title is Florida's second in the last three years.

The victory came on Senior Night as Kenny Boynton, Erik Murphy, and Mike Rosario were all honored beforehand in a pre-game celebration.

Boyton is second on the Gators all-time leading scorer list, and has an outside shot of overtaking Ronnie Williams as the leader, but Florida would likely need to go deep into the NCAA Tournament. Boynton would also need to drastically improve on the 12.7 points per game he was averaging entering Wednesday's contest.

Against the Commordores, Boynton was Florida's leading scorer with 15 points, while Murphy added 10, and Patric Young chipped in 14. The third Gators senior, Rosario, had a disappointing five points.

The victory earned the Gators the No. 1 seed heading into next week's SEC Tournament and capped off a perfect season (15-0) at the O'Connell Center.
