Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp said during SEC media days on Tuesday that  Ohio State did report the Gators for possible NCAA violations.  Muschamp told reporters no violations were found by the SEC or NCAA, and then proceeded to take a byte verbal shot at Ohio State headed by former Florida head coach Urban Meyer.

"And so we appreciated our friends from Ohio making sure we're compliant with NCAA rules. They certainly know a little bit about that subject," Muschamp said.

Ohio State was banned from the postseason last year for NCAA violations.

There were multiple reports that the Buckeyes turned in a Florida assistant for having contact with a recruit during an impermissible time and for a Gators player giving another recruit a ride to campus.

OSU’s Meyer denies being directly involved in reporting Florida.
