What sounded like a very dramatic and possibly controversial situation was diffused by Gators head coach Will Muschamp Friday.

No, Vernon Hargreaves did not get hurt while fighting. And his injury is nothing serious.

Still it's worth nothing that in their first full-pad practice, there was a scuffle. And though Muschamp said it happened earlier, Hargreaves still has a leg injury that will keep him off the field for a spell.

Muschamp called it a bone bruise. The former Wharton standout, and all-SEC defensive back as a freshman, Hargreaves is the only injury of note during the first couple days of fall practice.

"The knee was stable and there was absolutely no issue," Muschamp said.
