Tampa Bay outfielder Desmond Jennings is back with the Rays after missing two weeks with a fractured finger.

The Rays will get their leadoff hitter back Monday.

Outfielder Desmond Jennings, who has missed the last two weeks after fracturing the middle finger on his left hand, has been activated from the 15-day disabled list.

Jennings suffered his injury August 3, when he jammed his hand into the knee of Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford during a stolen base attempt in the tenth inning.  Jennings stole the base successfully, and eventually scored the winning run in a 2-1 win.

To make room on the sctive roster for Jennings, relief pitcher Brandon Gomes was optioned to Triple-A Durham.
