Third baseman Evan Longoria returned to camp Saturday morning after leavging earlier in the week to be with girlfriend Jaime Edmondson as she gave birth to the couple's first child.

Elle Leona Longoria was born Wednesday night at 7:21, weighed 4 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 18 inches long.

Edmondson and Longoria tweeted the baby's first picture Friday.

"She's beautiful," Longoria said.  "It was pretty miraculous, unlike anything I've ever experienced."

Longoria said Edmondson was only in labor for about three hours.

In baseball matters, the third baseman said he should be in the lineup for Tampa Bay Monday, when the Rays take on the Boston Red Sox in Port Charlotte.
