The Baltimore Orioles finish the sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays with a 3-1 win at Tropicana Field on Thursday night.

Evan Longoria gave the Rays an early 1-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI base hit to score Desmond Jennings.

That lead did not last long, though. After a J.J. Hardy double, the Orioles got a 2-run homerun from Steve Pearce in the second inning. Then the Orioles added to their lead when Jonathan Schoop got an RBI base hit in the fourth inning.

David Price got the loss. He only went five innings. He allowed nine hits, three earned runs, a walk and three strikeouts on 100 pitches. Ubaldo Jimenez earned the win and went 5.1 innings allowing seven hits, one earned run, two walks and three strikeouts on 117 pitches.

The Rays will begin a three-game series vs the Indians tomorrow night at 7P.M.
