The Tampa Bay Rays have locked in outfielder Matt Joyce and avoiding arbitration agreeing to a one year 3.7 million dollar deal. The deal was first reported by the New York Post's Joel Sherman.

Joyce enters his sixth year with the Rays after a lackluster 2013 campaign in which he hit a career low .235 with 18 home runs and 47 RBI in 140 games played.
