Chris Archer only made it five innings in a 6-5 loss to the Indians on Sunday.

Matt Joyce gave the Rays an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning with a solo homerun.

The Indians would answer in the 2nd inning when Nyjer Morgan hit a bunt single down the 3rd base line to score Gomes. Bourn hit a 2-run double to right field shortly after to give the Indians a 3-1 lead.

The Rays got another run in the 4th inning when Matt Joyce got a base hit right after Zobrist got on with a double. This scored Zobrist and made it 3-2 Indians.

Cleveland score two more in the 6th inning off a homerun from Gomes and a sac fly by Aviles.

The Rays started to rally in the 8th inning when Zobrist scored off an infielder error on a Loney grounder to short. Myers singled to right scoring Longoria and Escobar hit a sac fly to right field to score Loney. This made it 6-5, but that's as close as it would get.

The Rays start a 7-game road trip on the west coast when they play three vs the Mariners and four against the Angels.

The Rays/Mariners game gets underway Monday at 10P.M.
