Rays President Matt Silverman joined Steve Duemig Thursday afternoon and was as impressed as you'd expect about how well the team has played.
Silverman also got into the team's new promotion to try and get more fans to the Trop. Wednesday, July 31, for every adult ticket fans can get up to three more seats for kids at just $2 each.
While the deal is great the down note is that the team even has to conjure up methods to draw crowds, considering their play on the field should be enough.
"One more game" is the team's mantra, Silverman told the Big Dog. It not only applies to wanting to finish at least a game ahead of their East rivals, but it goes as a plea towards fans.
Silverman also gave a generally positive update on the stadium talks with St. Pete Mayor Bill Foster.
