MYERS GETS DAY OFF: Rookie OF Wil Myers is getting a day out of the lineup, and said before Tuesday's game he's putting it to good use.

"The last few days my swing has felt a little long," the 22-year-old explained.  "We're working on the inside pitch, staying through the ball and staying tall."

Myers' production has tapered off, as the right-hander is 5 for his last 31 with a slash-line of .161 / .222 / .226.
