Just in time for their game with the Storm, Aaron Garcia rejoined the Jacksonville Sharks Monday.

Garcia had been added in a big offseason trade from Orlando but refused to report. That changed Monday.

Jacksonville is off to a 1-2 start and a win over the Sharks Friday would give Tampa Bay (3-1) a major cushion over the four-time defending South Division champs.

But that task becomes more difficult with Garcia in the lineup. The Sharks have been going with veteran R.J. Archer at quarterback.

Garcia guided the Sharks to the 2011 league title. He is 43 years old but two seasons ago threw for 118 scores, and then last year took over an 0-5 Orlando team and got into the playoffs.

Kickoff Friday is at 8 p.m. from SeaBest Field inside the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Jack Harris and Darek Sharp will call the action on 1250 WHNZ.
