The Storm announced their first round of roster cuts Saturday, while adding several new players including former USF wide receiver Terrence Mitchell.
Tampa Bay had to get down to 28 players from 35.
"We had a lot of talent out there and everyone had been working hard to make this team," said Storm VP of Football Operations Jeff Gooch.

Former Jefferson High quarterback Stephen Garcia is batting with incumbent Randy Hippeard for the starting spot. The team plays an preseason contest against Jacksonville Sunday and kicks things off at home March 14 against New Orleans.
