As dramatic as the scene was Saturday at the Times Forum, with Randy Hippeard on one good leg leading the Storm to victory, there had to be a question in the aftermath.
Can he play next week?
The answer is a resounding "yes" according to Storm head coach Lawrence Samuels, who said on the Storm Report that Hippeard was "100 per cent" healthy and went through a full practice Tuesday.
Hippeard's leg was run into during the fourth quarter of Saturday's thrilling victory against Philadelphia (scroll down for further details).
And no doubt that performance was deserving of game MVP honors. The problem was media were required to vote before he re-entered game, which Philly led at the time. Thus the award went to Soul RB Derrick Ross.
Fans can correct that quick by going to arenafootball.com Wednesday. Hippeard will be one of the candidates for league MVP of the Week. Fans decide the winner with their votes.
