Last year’s game featured South Carolina vs Michigan and included four lead changes in the fourth quarter with the Gamecocks winning on a touchdown pass with 11 seconds remaining. The game was ranked by some media as the best bowl game of the season and also featured the now famous “Hit” by Jadeveon Clowney which received an ESPY Award as the “Best Sports Play of the Year.”
The Outback Bowl will host its 28th game this season.
