Lightning Head Coach, Jon Cooper joined Big Dog for an hour long conversation about his team and the season that they had making the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The coach explained the difference in the first half of the season and the second half of the season. Cooper felt the team relied heavily on Ben Bishop to get wins before the Olympic break, but once they came back from the Olympic break they relied more on their scoring.

Coach Cooper talked about his team and what they need to do this off-season to improve on the success they had last year. Cooper felt one of the biggest things will be having his young team just be a year older is a big factor and added he doesn't think the team needs to make many moves in free agency.

Also, Coach Cooper gave his feelings on the entire Martin St Louis situation. Cooper said right before the trade happened you could tell Marty wanted to go and it was time for him to go.
