Jeff Vinik joined Big Dog to talk about the Lightning making it into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In a season of ups and downs, one of the most shocking moments was when Steven Stamkos went down with an injury. The team owner told us what his initial reaction to the injury was, saying "my first thoughts were, oh expletive" but quickly changed his thoughts to seeing how this team would rally and come together without their leader.

As we all witnessed the team rallied to keep themselves in the hunt until the Lightning's star center could make it back to the ice. Big Dog asked Vinik about his thoughts on the team getting home ice in their first round match-up. Vinik said, "if it comes down to a game seven we prefer to be at home."
