This is a very important year for the Miami Hurricanes football program and in particular Head Coach Al Golden who enters his fourth season at the helm of "The U."  Following a season where Miami played three teams that finished in the Top 25 — No. 1 Florida State, No. 15 Louisville and No. 23 Duke and lost to all three by a combined score of 125-43, Golden told WDAE on Wednesday that the future is bright for his football program this season.

"If I can share anything with you right now guys is that as bleak as it looked a year ago going into that season not knowing what our fate would be, not knowing how many scholarships or how many additional bowl games or what other sanctions were going to be put on us.   It looks as equally as bright now," said Golden.  "It's that time.  A lot has changed in the last year here at the University of Miami.  We are jacked up right now about what we're doing and the response we're getting in recruiting."

Golden did say that he received several calls from a number of different schools after last season to leave Miami, but all indications are Golden is staying at "The U" for a while.
