A group of 11-13 year old African American baseball players had the United States turned on its collective ear and the a city united once again behind a hometown sports team.  In case you've been living under a rock lately, Jackie Robinson West from the south side of Chicago won the United States championship of the Little League World Series, but fell in the national championship game to South Korea 8-4 on Sunday. 

The support for the kids from Chicago was overwhelming social media for a majority of the afternoon, and here are a few samples.
