ST. PETERSBURG (620 WDAE) -- The list of injured Tampa Bay Rays players continues to grow on their current homestand.
Third baseman Matt Duffy is the latest to deal with injury, leaving Monday's game in the first inning with what the team is calling right hamstring tightness.
Duffy singled to start the bottom of the inning and stole second base, which is where it appears the injury occurred. The third baseman reachd third base on a groundout by Adeiny Hechavarria, but was replaced by Joey Wendle.
The Rays say Duffy is considered day-to-day, and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday.
