So far the Bucs offseason has been rather positive. There has been all kinds of buzz with new players and a new coach around the rookie mini-camp, OTAs and the mandatory mini-camp (where all players were present). But, amidst the positive vibes there has always been a dark cloud in the background, and that is the on going investigation by the NFL of Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston’s alleged involvement in female Uber driver’s allegation that Winston groped her during a stop at the drive-through of a Mexican restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, March 13, 2016.
Since January when the news broke, things have been pretty silent and ambiguous.
On Wednesday, on ESPN Radio 97.9 in Tallahassee, long-time host Jeff Cameron said that Winston’s camp is, in fact, preparing for a suspension.
