Tampa Bay Buccaneers Place Mitch Unrein On Injured Reserve

(via Tampa Bay Buccaneers Communications) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has signed long snapper Garrison Sanborn and placed defensive tackle Mitch Unrein on Injured Reserve.

Since Unrein was on the team’s original 53-man roster, he is eligible to be designated for return from Injured Reserve.


The team also announced that it has signed 11 players to the practice squad.

Nine practice squad members were with the Buccaneers this preseason. Nzeocha is part of the International Player Pathway program, allowing the Buccaneers an exemption for an eleventh practice squad member – ineligible to be activated during the season.

Ledbetter (6-3, 295) comes to Tampa Bay from the Detroit Lions. Originally a sixth-round pick (205th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft, Ledbetter played in all 16 games for Detroit in 2017, recording 14 tackles and a half sack, while also blocking a field goal. A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Ledbetter played collegiately at Arkansas. He will wear No. 78 for Tampa Bay.

Victor (6-2, 240) was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round (216th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent this past offseason and preseason with Oakland. A native of Compton, California, Victor played collegiately at Washington, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2016. He will wear No. 43 for Tampa Bay.
