Phil Mickelson Selected For Ryder Cup, Goes All In On Twitter

posted by WDAE -

Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau were announced as Jim Furyk’s first three captain’s picks ahead of the 2018 Ryder Cup, and they join a loaded Team USA squad that will compete in Paris later this year.

Mickelson, 48, has earned spots on twelve consecutive Ryder Cup teams dating back to 1995. The selection will give Mickelson the most appearances in history, breaking a tie with Nick Faldo, and he enters the 2018 Ryder Cup as Team USA’s third leading point-scorer in history (21.5), behind only Billy Casper (23.5) and Arnold Palmer (23).

So that would leave one to celebrate a bit, and Lefty sure did tweeting his excitement with this picture attached.  GO USA!

That man is excited!  Much more calm than normal Lefty!
