ST. PETERSBURG (620 WDAE) -- The Tampa Bay Rays will look to buiild on their series win over the Texas Rangers, as they welcome in the Minnesota Twins to Tropicana Field for a three-game weekend series. Chris Archer (1-1, 7.84 ERA) will get the start, taking on Lance Lynn (0-1, 5.00 ERA). First pitch is scheduled for 7:10, with coverage on WDAE beginning at 6:00 with The Inside P{itch presented by Crown Eurocars.
MILLER REINSTATED FROM DL: The Rays Friday activated 1B Brad Miller from the 10-day disabled list. Miller missed nine games wit a left groin strain.
To make room on the roster, infielder Brandon Snyder was designated for assignment.
Miller hit .222/.300/.370 with a home run and 5 RBI in nine games before landing on the DL.
