A lot of us kind of assumed Blake Snell was going to be that guy to force his way out of Tampa Bay for more money as soon as humanly possible, but the more the former Rays pitcher talks about his time here, the more you realize how much he appreciated his time with the team and everyone around him.
I won't lie. I've never identified or connected with the Blake Snell I saw on Twitch whenever I made the poor decision to click on a link to watch him play video games for about five minutes, but the more I hear him talk about the Rays organization and the people he will miss here, the more I realize I probably read the young man wrong just because I found his Twitch persona a bit annoying.
