Friday night, the Tampa Bay Lightning recalled goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis and forward Vladislav Namestnikov from the Syracuse Crunch the team announced.

Gudlevskis, who is tied for the AHL lead with four shutouts this season, was called up on an emergency basis, with Tampa Bay's starter Ben Bishop listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury.

Last week, the Lightning called up netminder Cedrick Desjardins to replace injured back-up goalie Anders Lindback.

Earlier Friday, Head Coach Jon Cooper announced the teams' second leading points scorer (41) Vatteri Filppula will miss three weeks with a non-displaced fracture of his right ankle. Filppula sustained the injury in Thursday night's loss to Toronto and will miss playing for Team Finland in the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Namestnikov was drafted by the Lightning in the first round (27th overall) of the 2011 NHL draft and has skated in 31 games for the Crunch, scoring 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points.

The Lightning will play their final game tonight against the Detroit Red Wings at the Tampa Bay Times Forum before heading into the league-mandated Olympic break. The puck drops at 7:00 pm and can be heard on sister station 970WFLA with pregame beginning at 6:30. Tampa Bay resumes play on February 27 on the road versus the Nashville Predators.
