The Tampa Bay Lightning have been one of the more active franchises in NHL free agency with trading players away and saving cap room to go spend when free agency began on Tuesday morning.  The Bolts have brought in help on the defensive side of the puck with additions of Anton Stralman and goaltender Evengi Nabokov, plus adding forwards Brian Boyle, Mike Angelidis, and Mike Blunden.

General Manager Steve Yzerman stopped by WDAE’s “The Sports Page” on Thursday morning and discussed the additions and subtractions of the past week.  Yzerman also mentioned that the team is still quite young, and they could be still on the look for some veteran additions through trade but typically a trade this time of the year is difficult to accomplish.
