New head coach Lovie Smith has been on the job for less than a week and now he has to deal with his first distraction, albeit a minor one.

Bucs rookie running back Michael Hill was arrested in St. Joseph, Missouri and charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance at a bar.

According to the St. Joseph News-Press, Hill was taken into custody shortly after 1:20am after failing to obey an order from a police officer and for resisting arrest.  The St. Joseph police department says the arresting officer suffered a "minor bump and bruise" during the scuffle.

Hill was a graduate of Missouri Western State in 2013.  He bounced from San Diego to Green Bay before signing with the Bucs in November.  In 6 games with Tampa Bay. Hill had 9 carries for 23 yards.
