Well, what a week it has been for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

First of all, Josh Freeman who started 59 games in Tampa at quarterback, has been demoted and  Mike Glennon, the rookie of out North CarolinaState, will make his first start today, so it begins a new era in TampaBay for quarterbacks and we'll see how it goes. Normally, rookies have their hands full in the National Football League.

Reportedly, Josh Freeman was said earlier this week to have been handling his demotion with class, but we have since found out otherwise since an unauthorized interview was aired by ESPN Thursday night.

Josh needs to grow up. He needs to accept this adversity with class. There are other quarterbacks who have gone through the same thing in the National Football League and if he wants to continue playing in this league, he needs to remember there are 31 other teams watching how he deals with this current adversity. So the best thing Josh can do is man up and speak to the local media, and also be supportive of the coaches' decision. he doesn't have to like it, but he needs to be supportive and try to help Mike Glennon and Dan Orlovsky as much as he possibly can.

Now, on to today's game.

It's an interesting matchup because the Buccaneers come into the game third in the league in sacks, while Arizona has given up a ton of sacks. So the key here, it appears to me, is which team can protect their quarterback better.

The Arizona run defense is stout, ranked third in the NFL right now, but as you know, No. 22 Doug Martin, second year in the league, second leading rusher in the National Football League, so something's got to give.

And with that, I'm going to give the nod to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get their first win of the season with a rookie at quarterback.

It's got to happen because the Buccaneers' offensive line is getting stronger with each performance and I think they will protect Glennon just enough for him to manage the game and the Bucs' defense will come up with big enough plays for the Buccaneers to pull out a very close 20-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals today.
