The microscope continues to be solely focused on Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman during training camp.  Following up NFL Hall Of Famer Fran Tarkenton’s comments on WDAE Tuesday calling Freeman a “God awful quarterback,” another Hall Of Fame quarterback has joined the fray.  Warren Moon, who played 19 seasons in the NFL for four different teams, is now a broadcaster for the Seattle Seahawks radio network.

Moon said on WDAE’s “The Ron and Ian Show” that although Freeman is a gifted athlete that can make all the plays necessary, Moon still believes Freeman’s focus on the game itself is still in question.

“I just want Josh to be a little more dedicated to the game” said Moon.  “That’s something that I think that I’ve heard in his younger days that he likes to go out and he likes to hang out a little too much.  As a professional quarterback you got to put the time in., you got to put the focus in.   You need to take care of your body and get your rest.  Kind of stay out of the public eye as much as you possibly can.”

Moon believes if Freeman truly wants to be a leader he needs to lead both on and off the field.  Moon also stated that Freeman’s issues with passing accuracy will improve with time and reps.
