Florida State is off to the best start of any team in the NCAA tournament after two days, posting a 11-0 rout of Troy on Saturday to advance to the finals of the Tallahassee regional.

FSU will just need one more win, and could get two cracks at it, against Sunday's Alabama-Troyw inner.

On Saturday the Noles got 14 strikeouts and eight innings from Luke Weaver, while getting 11 hits on offense and a putaway six-run top of the ninth.

Friday night the Noles destroyed first-time tourney team Savannah State 10-0. Alabama, which had lost its opener to Troy, eliminated Savannah in the first game Saturday.
