The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will kickoff their pre-season slate tomorrow night in Jacksonville against the AFC’s Jaguars, and the game marks the debut of new head coach Lovie Smith at the helm of the Buccaneers. So much has been said this training camp about the level of confidence the new regime under Lovie Smith has brought upon the players as opposed to last year, and Buccaneers Radio Network analyst Dave Moore told WDAE’s “The Ron and Ian Show” that body language tells the tales of the differences made from year to year.
“When you talk to players and you get out there to see them, you can give lip service to the media and the coaches but body language says a lot,” said Moore. “When you watch these guys they’re taking the professional attitude. They’re going out and working hard. They’re not paniking or stressing, they’re just doing what the coaches are telling them. And really that’s what they need to do at this time of year. Just buy into the system, do what they’re asking you to do and you’ll see guys making plays.”
“There’s a lot to be said just by watching the guys interact with their body language about where this team is compared to last year.”
