Could another former Chicago Bear be joining Lovie Smith in Tampa Bay?
Former Bears safety Major Wright, who played under Lovie Smith for three seasons, stopped in Tampa Bay on Tuesday for a meeting with Smith and the Buccaneers. The former Gators safety posted Tuesday on Twitter.
Blessed and grateful to finally get this journey started. It's going to be great to see familiar old faces in Tampa.— Major Wright (@LilMade21) April 1, 2014
Wright amassed over 100 tackles last season for Chicago and could reunite with Mikal Smith, Tampa’s safeties coach, and cornerbacks coach Gill Byrd, who had the same position in Chicago.
