After an initial two hour and forty eight minute weather delay, the Florida Gators were able to get one play off to kickoff their 2014 season only to have the game delayed again by lightning in the area.  After another thirty minute delay, the game was terminated by officials due to unsafe and unplayable conditions.

The only play the Gators were able to get off was a 68 yard kickoff return by Valdez Showers, but before quarterback Jeff Driskell could take a snap, officials called the teams off the field for a second time.

There is no official make up date as of Saturday evening.
