Hopefully, the hardest hit Alex Cobb will receive this week is from a microphone.

While conducting his normal pre-start media session, the Rays pitcher reacted to a joke made by Todd Kalas of Sun Sports by leaning forward.  Unfortunately, he went head-first into the microphone of WTSP's Bobby Lewis, cracking himself just above the right eye.

"Who hit me!" Cobb exclaimed, as teammates and media members laughed.  The right-hander obviously wasn't injured (other than his pride), but he wouldn't shoulder any of the blame.

"That's on you," he joked to Lewis, a USF alum (and classmate of mine) who worked in Lafayette, LA and Tulsa, OK before coming back to Tampa last year.

Watch the incident unfold below in Lewis' story!
