One ballplayer is not happy to see Johnny Manziel in his fraternity.
The Texas A&M quarterback was taken in the 28th round of the MLB first-year player draft by the San Diego Padres, and Rays infielder Cole Figueroa, who started his career with the Padres is not happy that his former team decided to use one of their selections on the former Heisman Trophy winner.
Figueroa took to Twitter to voice his displeasure.
Manziel getting drafted today was a big slap in the face to everyone who worked hard to experience the dream of being drafted and didn't.— Cole Figueroa (@Cole_Figueroa) June 8, 2014
Figueroa was drafted in the sixth round in 2008 coming out of the University of Florida.
He likely won't have to worry about Manziel taking his job, as the Aggie was selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns.
