Matt Moore starts his start day with some heavy metal, and hopefully ends it with a high-five from his catcher.

Jay Mohr picked the Tampa Bay Rays to get to, but not win, the World Series, which is fine by Matt Moore.

"I'm just glad you've got us picked to be in there," Moore told Mohr on Jay Mohr Sports (heard weekdays from 12-3 on 620 WDAE) Friday.  "We'll take care of the rest when we get there."

Mohr also asked the Rays left-hander what superstitions he has while preparing for a start.

"I like to listen to some face-melting music.  I like metal, and I like to get it pretty heavy," Moore explained.  This is music that I won't listen to the other days of the week.  It's just stuff that for some reason kind of gets me in to that mindset that I like to hang out in."

When asked for an example of what he listens to, Moore mentioned the song "Pleasure and Pain" by Gemini Syndrome.  Hear what gets Matt Moore pumped up!
